Cookie policy

Summary

This website does not place any audience-measurement or advertising cookies. No consent banner is required.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser when visiting a website. It allows the site to remember information related to your navigation (preferences, session, cart…). The French Data Protection Act and the ePrivacy Directive require users' prior consent before any cookie that is not strictly necessary is placed.

Cookies used on legle.fr

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of the website and do not require your consent (art. 82 of the French Data Protection Act, para. 2).

  • NEXT_LOCALE — stores the chosen language (FR/EN) — duration: 1 year.

Local storage

The website does not use local storage for tracking purposes. No advertising trackers, pixels or fingerprinting techniques are used.

Audience measurement

Legle uses Umami (umami.is) to measure website audience anonymously. Umami is configured in cookie-less mode: no cookies are placed on your device, and no data makes it possible to re-identify you from one session to another.

IP addresses are anonymised through a rotating hash system and are not stored. Accordingly, and in line with the CNIL's exemption criteria (recommendation on cookies and other trackers of 17 September 2020, amended by deliberation n° 2021-126 of 14 October 2021), this audience measurement does not require your prior consent.

Managing your preferences

You can configure your browser at any time to refuse all cookies or to be notified when they are placed:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Refusing strictly necessary cookies may impair some site functionality (in particular the memorisation of your chosen language).
